Fazlul Maulana--  Al Hadis, Bk. 1, Sec 3, Chap. 4, no. 55 and 57, Ibn Abbas reported that the messenger of Allah Said: "Whoever so interprets the Quran according to his opinion, let him seek his abode in the fire (hell). And in a narration: 'Whoso interprets the Quran without knowledge, let him seek his abode in the fire (hell)" Attested by Tirmizi

Same text, No. 57, Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah said: "Dispute about the Quran is infidelity" Attested by Ahmed, Abu Daud.


Fazlul Maulana--  Al Hadis, Book 3, Chap. 36, No. 61- Abu Harairah reported the Messenger of Allah said: 'He who does not chant the Koran (vain repetition) is not of us.' Attested by Bukhari.


Fazlul Maulana--   Al Hadis, Book 1, Chapter 6, no. 166, Ibn Abbas reported: One day I was behind the messenger of Allah. He said, 'O boy! protect Allah, and he will protect you...' "


Fazlul Maulana--   Al Hadis, Book 3, Chap. 37, No. 601, Huzaifah reported that the Apostle of Allah said: "Read the Quran with the tunes (reading tones) of the Arabs and their accents, and guard yourselves from the tunes of the paramours and the tunes of the People of the Books (Christians and Jews). There will soon appear a people after me who will sing the Quran with songs and mournings. It will not cross their throat. Their hearts will be tried... (judged)." Attested by Baihaqi, Razimi.


Fazlul Maulana--   Same Book and Chap, No. 605, Ibn Mas'ud reported that the Messenger of Allah said: "The Quran has been revealed upon seven dialects. For every verse therein, there is an inner and outer meaning; and for every end, there is study (of tones)." Attested by Sharhi Sunnat.

Fazlul Maulana--   Al Hadis, Book 3, Chap. 37, No. 75, Ibn Mas'ud reported: "I heard a man reading the Koran, and I heard the Prophet read it another way. I came with him to the Prophet and informed him. I noticed disgust on his face. He said: 'Both of you are correct. Don't disagree and verily those who were before you disagreed and so they were destroyed.' " Attested by Bukhari.
