Amos

Amos 1 and 2 There are people that will say that hell does not have fire. Here we find God punishing people on earth with fire. This is nothing new, God has done this before. See Genesis 19. Why not in hell too? Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. Preach the gospel to the lost! Prv. 11:30

Amos 2:11-12 And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of blip? saith the LORD. 12 But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not. (Nazarites were forbidden to drink wine.) Laodiceans (Rev. 3:17) and Nicolaitans (nico = above, laity = the people; Rev. 2:6) do not want to hear the messangers God raises up. They try to corrupt His chosen ones. They try to give real Christians the "new wine" of Charismania, and they tell us not to quote the King James Bible! Lamentations 3:36 To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.
