"CHURCHED"

The blasphemous term used
for Excommunication

By Steve Van Nattan

In the southern USA we have this verb use of the word Church called "churched."

In the northern USA this expression means that someone is in attendance with professing Christians. The "churched" person may or may not be born again-- they do make an attempt to be with people who claim to be of Christ.

In its use in the South of the USA, "churched" is what is done to you by a preacher or church board. It is the word for excommunication. Usually the preacher "churches" a member without saying a word to the rest of the saints, and the next Sunday he blasts them from the pulpit, either directly by name, or as a sermon illustration.

No better example exists of the blasphemous abuse of a precious word of the faith. Listen how Jesus used the word Church:

Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Jesus builds his Church by adding those to it which believe he is the Christ, and Fundamental church, and any other church, preachers drop kick the sheep right back out of the Church.

A friend of mine, who wants to serve the Lord in some ministry to the Lord's Church, was at a preacher's camp meeting, and he reported that the preachers there joked about the people they had recently "churched." They made this a hallmark of the measure of their zeal.

These men are bastards. They are not of Christ, and they are not sons. A true servant of Jesus Christ would be broken hearted to have to send a sheep away.

Here is the biblical example of the high and mighty jack boot preacher who lusts to throw sheep out of the Good Shepherd's fold:

3 John 1:9 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

This man was the first one to "church" saints.

Diotrephes loved the preeminence,
just like all Fundamental jack boot preachers.

He received not the Apostolic teaching,
just like the preacher who teaches church traditions and standards.

He verbally attacks righteous men,
just like Fundamental preachers.

He received not the brethren unless they grovel at his feet and at his alter call,
just like the pompous popelet breathing fire and threats from a bully pulpit.

Finally, he tosses them out of the church,
just like Fundamental preachers.

Please notice something wicked in the extreme in the end of verse 10. These jack boots have formed a Mafia of other preachers. If a saint is excommunicated, or "churched" from a local assembly, the pastor will go to other pastors in the area and demand that they reject the saint if he comes around looking for fellowship. If any pastor receives the "churched" saint into fellowship, then THAT preacher will go on the hit list and be attacked by all the Fundamentalist Mafia in the area. This is called "second degree separation," but, in fact, it is really "second degree excommunication."

So, verse 11 tells us that in doing evil against Christ's sheep, these preachers have never seen God, that is, they are not born again. It is about time we figured this out.

A friend of ours tried to slip out the door just before being "churched" by a fat good old boy in eastern Tennessee, and the bastard threatened my friend and told him he would not be able to attend such and such local church nearby. What damnation these vipers are in for at the Great White Throne. Benny Bananas Bonano did not have such power over his fellow Sicilians.

I hate Fundamental preachers who lust to control the sheep and "church" any who dares to question the preacher of think for themselves. They are wolves and hirelings, and they hate the sheep. The only reason they show any form of concern for the sheep is because the sheep fill their bellies via the offering plate.

My hate for these bastards is founded in the Word of God.

Psalms 139:21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

When you attack the sheep, and when you laugh about it and think it is a mark of accomplishment to throw sheep out of the sheep fold, you are damned to hell, you are bastards, and I pray to God to kill you and send you to hell where you belong.
