Cops Claim Close Encounter With UFO Describe Large Flying Object in Illinois Sighting (Jan. 12, 2000) MILLSTADT, Ill. (APBnews.com) -- Officer Craig Stevens was on patrol in this western Illinois village about 4:30 a.m. one week ago when a rather unusual call came across the police radio.Stevens heard that police in nearby Highland had a report of a large flying object and that it was headed in his direction.

The officer drove to the north end of town and waited in the parking lot at Liederkranz Park until he saw for himself that the report of a UFO was real. He snapped a Polaroid photo of the triangular object, said to resemble a two- to three-story house with a glowing red interior, as it slowly soared 500 to 1,000 feet over Millstadt...

A week later, what the object was remains a mystery. Last Friday, two former law enforcement personnel, including a former blip agent, came to metropolitan St. Louis from the National Institute for Discovery Science in Las Vegas searching for answers. The investigators said they were drawn to this case because, in addition to Stevens, officers from three other local police agencies reported having seen the flying object...”

Comments by Joey Faust:

Whether this strange mystery gets explained or not, it is reasonable to expect such occurrences to continue. Perhaps UFOs will be used as a rebellious explanation for the rapture or translation (when many Christians instantly disappear right before the coming Tribulation period). At the first coming of Christ there was an increase in angelic activity. Good and bad angels began to impact the earth in a greater degree than normal (John 5:4, Mt.4:24, etc.).

Earlier, in Gen.6 (in the time of Noah) there was another increase in angelic activity. Jesus specifically tells us that the days before His Second Coming will be just like these times of Noah (Lk.17:26). And since there was an increase in angelic activity at Christ’s first coming, we may expect even more right before His Second Coming.

The Bible specifically reveals this increase of angelic activity in the Tribulation period (Rev.18:21, 16:5,12, 14:6, etc.). Like all the other signs, we may even begin to see some stage-setting in regard to angelic activity. The devil will use this to encourage the revival of superstition and mysticism that is already abounding. Many Christians are beginning to be led astray into an unhealthy occupation with angels:

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your repiano coversd in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

So get grounded in the Bible and get ready for some strange stuff!:

Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and FEARFUL SIGHTS and GREAT SIGNS shall there be from heaven.
