Mileage Charge-  $ ZIP under 30 miles !!    

Steve does not tune in bars, nightclubs, lounges, or supper clubs.
Profanity and blasphemy will get you a lousy tuning.
An adult family member must be at home when Steve tunes in
homes where children are present.
School tunings must be after hours- NO students present.
Tunings in VFW, American Legion, Elks, and Moose,
must be booked three hours BEFORE the bar opens.
Drunk Vets have too many war stories about pianos they knew :-)

Steve reserves the right to refuse to tune any piano for any reason.
Performance pianos- A-440 and trade approved stretch unless you give special instructions.
Pianos found more than 50 cents below pitch will be raised only part way to Standard Pitch.

Tuning days preferred-  Monday through Friday.
NO Saturday or Sunday tuning for any reason.
Allow two hours for a tuning, though it usually takes much less.
Pie and coffee are appreciated :-)

Schools and churches receive no discounts. Jesus never asked for a discount!
Steve tithes and gives to his own church and Christian friends. 
For tunings during the end of year holiday season, book well ahead please.

What is "raising pitch?"  

Answer:  If your piano has not been tuned for over a year, it will have to be tuned twice.  
Both tunings are done at one visit.  It is not reasonable to expect a tuner to double tune a
piano and miss visiting another customer without adding to the price.  Kindly check with
other tuners in your area to verify that this is standard procedure.  

Selling a Piano?
A tuned and regulated piano sells for a higher price.
Steve will also confirm the tuning to potential buyers by phone.

We occasionally buy pianos. Call, and we will discuss it.
Why sell a piano which is an old friend of the family?
Tune it, and loan it to some kid who is beginning piano lessons.
Or, tune it and give it to some struggling country church.
